Gyanendro Ningombam as head Hockey India
- The Hockey India has selected Gyanendro Ningombam as new head of Hockey India after Mushtaq Ahmad resigning.
- Mohd Mushtaque takes resignation latter to Hockey India on 7 July 2020 due to his personal and family commitments.
- Ningombam is associated with Manipur Hockey and at all levels, he has impressed the board by his work. Ningombam has served as editor of Meeyam in Manipur. along with it, Ningombam did serve as Chief Executive Officer of Manipur Hockey from the period 2009 to 2014.
