GST Collection in December 2021 – Govt collects over Rs 1.29 crore – The Govt of India has collected ₹1,29,780 crore as gross GST(Goods and Services Tax) revenue in December 2021 and it is slightly lower than the revenue collected in November 2021 which was ₹1.31 lakh crore.
- The GST revenues for December are 13% higher than collection in the same month last year and 26% higher than the GST revenues in December 2019.
- The total revenue of the Centre and the states in December 2021 after settlements is ₹48,146 crores for CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) and ₹49,760 crores for the SGST (State Goods and Services Tax).
