The G20 Environment Ministers’ Meeting 2021 will be hosted by Italy in October 2021. The G20 meeting is one of the ministerial meetings conducted as part of the G20 Leaders Summit 2021. The G20 Meeting 2021 will focus on three broad, interconnected pillars of action: People, Planet, Prosperity. the main aim of this meeting will be to ensuring a swift international response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is to provide equitable, worldwide access to diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines.

  • From the Indian side, Union Environment Minister, Bhupender Yadav. Minister of State, Ashwini Kumar Choubey and senior officers of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change represented the nation.

The total 19 countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the UK, and the US.
