Former CBI Chief Ranjit Sinha died at 68
The Former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Director Ranjit Sinha has taken his last breath at the age of 68. he was suffering from COVID-19 related disease.

- He was an IPS officer of the 1974 batch from Bihar cadre.
- he started serving at the age of 21.
- He served as CBI Director and also served as Director-General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force, the Railway Protection Force.
Ranjit Sinha, 1974 batch retired IPS officer, who held various senior posts including that of CBI director and DG ITBP, passed away today around 4:30 am in Delhi.
