First World Solar Technology Summit
On 8th September 2020, The 1st World Solar Technology Summit has been started. International Solar Alliance (ISA) made all kind of arrangements for the summit via a virtual platform. Dharmendra Pradhan was also present in the summit.
The main objective of the summit is to pay attention to state-of-the-art technologies and next-generation technologies. such technologies will play an important role in making solar energy more efficiently. more than 26,000 participants from 148 nations joined the summit virtually.

- It is expected that ministers will be part of The First World Solar Technology Summit.
- Nobel winner M Stanley Whittingham is going to address the summit. in 2019, he was honoured with Nobel Prize in Chemistry, he discovered the lithium-ion batteries with John B Goodenough & Akira Yoshino.
