Exercise Garuda-VII: Bilateral air exercise between India and France concludes – The 7th edition of the bilateral air exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the French Air and Space Force (FASF) – called ‘Exercise Garuda-VII’ – concluded at the Air Force station in Jodhpur.

  • Rafale fighter jets and A-330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft participated in the exercise from the FASF side.
  • IAF contingent comprised Su-30 MKI, Rafale, LCA ‘Tejas’, and Jaguar fighter aircraft.

Exercise Garuda-VII (7)

  • Exercise Garuda-VII aims to interact professionally and share operational knowledge and experience between two Air Force regiments.
  • Both nations were exposed to realistic air combat simulations and associated combat-support operations
  • The exercise also delivered a platform for cultural exchange between the forces of the two countries.
