Airports Authority of India, Chennai Airport and Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Tamil Nadu State Office inaugurated an Electric Vehicle Charging Station at Chennai Airport towards Net Zero in the “COP-26” held at Glasgow.
- DC charger (15 kW GB-T – BEVC – 0001) and one Ac Type 2 (7.5 kW) have been provided on the Air Side.
- The EV charging station will help in decreasing the carbon footprint inside the airport.
- It will be cost-effective in terms of daily operational costs.
