PM Modi to inaugurate ‘Semicon India 2023’ in Gandhinagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate ‘Semicon India 2023’ in Gandhinagar on 28th July 2023. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate a special exhibition, informing about the manufacturing process of semiconductors and the progress made in this field. The exhibition will remain open till the 30th of July.

Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ram in Andhra Pradesh

On 23rd July 2023, Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ram in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh via video conferencing. The 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ram will be built at a cost of more than 500 crore rupees. The project is spread over an area of 10 acres in Mantralayam village.

The Gujarat government revealed the Semiconductor Policy (2022-2027), reflecting the state’s unwavering commitment to fostering accelerated and inclusive growth within the domestic semiconductor chip manufacturing sector. Govt also introduced an IT/ITES (Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services) policy.

• Micron Technology – a distinguished semiconductor manufacturing company, and the Government of Gujarat signed an MoU during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States of America.

Telangana govt to provide Rs 1 lakh financial assistance to poor among minority communities

The Telangana Government will provide one lakh rupees of financial assistance under the Financial Assistance Scheme to the poor among the minority communities, on the lines of backward classes, Announced by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The financial assistance will help in eliminating poverty in all sections irrespective of Caste and Religion.

• Poor minority families whose annual income of the applicant shall not exceed One and a half lakh rupees in rural areas and Two lakh rupees in urban areas will get the benefit.
• Applicant’s age must be 21-55 years as of June 2nd this year.

5th Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit to be held on July 25 in Madhya Pradesh

The 5th Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit will be conducted on July 25th, 2023 at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. The event will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Pawan Hans Ltd., and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

• The Summit aims to enhance the scope of the UDAN scheme in remote and hilly terrains. The theme is “Reaching the Last Mile: Regional Connectivity through Helicopters & Small Aircraft”.
