The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) was ranked in the second position with an impressive score of 4.7 out of 5 in the influential assessment known as the Data Governance Quality Index (DGQI). the DGQI survey aims to evaluate the level of maturity of administrative data systems and their application in the decision-making process.

  • The DGQI assessment contains six pivotal themes, including Data Generation, Data Quality, Use of Technology, Data Analysis, Use and Dissemination, Data Security and HR Capacity, and Case Studies.

The Bill will be presented to the State Assembly for consideration. Seattle was the first city in the United States of America to pass legislation banning caste-based discrimination, with the voting 6-1.

The Reserve Bank of India begins a ‘100 Days 100 Pays’ campaign for banks, aimed at tracing and settling the top ‘100 unclaimed deposits’ of every bank in every district of the country within ‘100 days’. The banks will commence the 100 Days 100 Pays campaign on 1 June 2023.

  • The ‘100 Days 100 Pays campaign will help in reducing the quantum of unclaimed deposits in the banking system and return such deposits to their rightful owners or claimants.
