- GST Council has reduced the supply of goods and services to the Service Tax Council meeting which will be effective from August 1. First electric vehicles are taxed at the rate of 12%, it has now been reduced to 5%, apart from the charger or charging stations, GST has been reduced from 18% to 5%.
