Aadhaar Card for cows and buffaloes

  • A numerical database will now be accessible for cows and buffaloes just like Aadhaar cards, which carries a 12-digit amount that creates the distinctive identity of every Indian citizen.
  • This unique number currently being created can monitor inventory population. The National Milk Farm Development Board (NDDB) is developing the knowledgeNetwork for Animal Productivity and Health (INAPH). Like Aadhaar cards, INAPH will also give each animal a unique identification number along with a host of other associated information to assist manage the vast animal resources of the country. The INAPH is known as the biggest current animal database in the world. Each animal will be given with an ear tag containing its own 12-digit UID during the method.

  • Union Minister for the Environment, PrakashJavadekar, introduced a website. that is unccdcop14india.gov.in.The website includes all the details associated to COP14. The 14th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Combating Desertification (COP14) will be held at the India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR from 2-13 September 2019.
  • The main goal of the conference is to reverse land degradation and its outcomes while speeding up beneficial accomplishments for individuals and ecosystems with a perspective to achieving Sustainable Development Goals.

On World Tribal Day, KVIC introduced a “Leather Mission” program

  • The Khadi and Village Industry Commission (KVIC) has launched a program enabling the commission to provide leather kits to leather craftsmen across the country.
    On World Tribal Day, KVIC delivered 50 leather kits and 350 bee-boxes in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan.

  • According to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), transactions through the Aadhaar-enabled Payment System (AePS) in July passed 200 million.
  • The Adhaar Payment System is a model-based payment system that enables fundamental interoperable banking transactions at sales point terminals (PoS) by using Aadhaar authentication through a company correspondent of any bank.
