CR Patil as president of the Gujarat BJP
- On 20th July 2020, three-time parliamentarian shri C.R. Patil has been apointed as president of the Gujarat BJP. he will take place of Patidar leader from Saurashtra Jitu Vaghani who completes his term. CR Patil is MP of Lok Sabha from Navsari in South Gujarat.
- He is Considered close to Prime Minister Modi and serving charge of the PM’s Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi. apart from this, he is going to be first non-Gujrati leader who will be appoint as party chief in the Prime Minister and Home Minister’s home State.
