Punjab and Haryana’s Capital Chandigarh launches a mobile application “Carbon Watch” in order to assess the carbon footprint of an individual. after launching the app, Chandigarh became the first state or Union Territory in India
What is Carbon Watch App
- The mobile application will suggest methods to reduce carbon footprints.
- Users will fill details in four parts — Water, Energy, Waste Generation and Transport (Vehicular movement).
