The Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) offers the scholarship with the help of the Chambers Family Foundation to honor the memory of Glenn and Jim Chambers. This year, there will be 2 scholarships such as a $1,000 graduate award and a $500 senior undergraduate award to encourage students in Missouri colleges or universities.
The Award – One scholarship will be awarded:
- One $1,000 undergraduate scholarship,
- One $1,000 graduate scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
Either 1) a junior/senior level undergraduate, or 2) a graduate student pursuing a degree related to waterfowl/waterbird biology/management, wetlands restoration/management, and/or wildlife biology/management.
Note – Students attending the University of Missouri (Columbia) under the Johnny Morris Institute of Fisheries, Wetlands, and Aquatic Systems will get the Preference.
Application Process
To apply for the program, you will have to submit your application.
- Download The Application Form.
- A brief essay (no longer than 2 pages) explaining the student’s academic and professional goals, and a description of any ongoing research or related project work, if applicable.
- A resume, including anticipated graduation date.
- Two letters of recommendation from natural resource professionals.

Selection Process
The scholarship will be offered based on excellence in academics, leadership, and conservation education.
