Every year, Celebration of the Mind Day is observed on October 21, The day also marks the birthday of the famous mathematician, Martin Gardner. The Gathering 4 Gardner Foundation developed the Celebration of Mind (CoM) day which aims to unite people for a day to explore puzzles, games, math, and magic.

Martin Gardner was an American writer, polymath, and ‘mathematician’. He wrote over 100 books across a wide range of topics, and introduced subjects such as the Soma cube, flexagons, and the “Game of Life”.
