Canada finance minister resigns from post –
- On 17th August 2020, The finance minister of Canada Mr Bill Morneau has given its resignation from the post amid friction with Trudeau and charity scandal. Morneau said he is not going for parliament again and decided to be the next secretary-general of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
About Bill Morneau –
- in 2015, Morneau was chosen to the House of Commons. he has served as minister of finance between 4th November 2015 and 17th August 2020.
