Bill to ban caste discrimination by California State Senate – The California State Senate in the USA passed a Bill to ban caste discrimination, bringing California a step closer to banning caste-based discrimination in the state. The Bill will be presented to the State Assembly for consideration. Seattle was the first city in the United States of America to pass legislation banning caste-based discrimination, with the voting 6-1.
