  • On 17 May 2020, The Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took sworn as new Prime Minister of Israel and made a new government to operate the nation.
  • during the swearing ceremony, coronavirus social distancing directives were also obeyed.
  • PM Netanyahu will continue his government till 13th November 2021. the Israel was suffering with 18-month political crisis in the country. after being PM, this crisis has been ended.
  • along with it, Benny Gantz will start serving as an alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister.

Education –

  • in 1972, Netanyahu completed his army service then went to United States to study architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). next year in October 1973, Netanyahu came back to country and started serving in the Yom Kippur War in the Sayeret Matkal commando unit.
  • in February 1975, he completed an bachelor’s degree in architecture. also earned a master’s degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management in June 1976.
