The American Welding Society (AWS) created a scholarship program in honor of John C. Lincoln. Every year, one undergraduate student pursuing a four-year or more bachelor’s degree program in welding engineering or welding engineering technology is offered with the $3,500 John C. Lincoln Memorial Scholarship. Students from or studying in Ohio or Arizona will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria
