The American Welding Society (AWS) created a scholarship program in honor of John C. Lincoln. Every year, one undergraduate student pursuing a four-year or more bachelor’s degree program in welding engineering or welding engineering technology is offered with the $3,500 John C. Lincoln Memorial Scholarship. Students from or studying in Ohio or Arizona will be given preference.

Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
- Must be students from or studying in Ohio or Arizona.
- Must be a High School Graduate – Undergraduate
- The minimum Age limit is 18
- Must have a required GPA score of 2.5

Students who have shown financial need will be given the scholarship. Students who are pursuing a degree in welding engineering will be given priority over welding engineering technology students.
