Assam CM Himanta Biswa assures govt jobs for National Games Medalists
On 19th July 2021, The Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji assures jobs for all National Games medalists of Assam. also, announced that National Games medalists will be provided Sports Pension by the State Government. this move will help the sportspersons of the state a lot.
- Along with it, CM also said that govt will increase the pension of sportsperson from Rs. 8000 to Rs. 10,000 on the sixth day of the Assam Assembly cabinet meeting.
- he also said that the house would send a goodwill message to boxer Lovlina Borgohain who will be vying for a medal in Tokyo Olympics.
