On 8th May 2021, Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus beat world number one Ashleigh Barty of Australia with 6-0, 3-6, 6-4 and claimed the 2021 Madrid Open women’s singles title.

  • Aryna gets her 10th career WTA singles title, second WTA title of the season.
  • On the other hand, Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova defeated France’s Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Demi Schuurs with 6-4, 6-3 points in the women’s doubles final.
