Arvind Kejriwal to launch Green Delhi app

The Chief Minister of Delhi state Arvind Kejriwal is going to launch Delhi Government’s Green Delhi application on 29th October 2020. the state govt has shared this information among the public.

• The Environment Minister of Delhi State Gopal Rai conducted a review meeting with the concerned officials from different departments and the Meet aimed to review Green Delhi app and it was held on 27th October 2020.
• The Departments such as Nodal officers of Environment, Revenue, Municipal Corporation and New Delhi Municipal Council joined the meet.

Green Delhi App

• The Green Delhi app will be introduced and it will aim to keep checking on rising air pollution in Delhi. the app will monitor pollution-causing activities to the state government’s notice.

• The Citizens of state can download the Green Delhi app. they can submit their complaints regarding burning waste, industrial pollution and dust in the National Capital to inform state Govt.

• The Green Delhi App will have a feature of photo and video complaint. The Govt has set a time limit for solving complaints received on the application.

• All departments will be connected through the app and they will receive complaints directedly.

• If an officer doesn’t resolve complaints within the time as a result, he will have to face strict action.
