Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur has honored sports personalities for the year 2020 by the Madhya Pradesh Shikhar Khel Alankaran ceremony in Bhopal. Thakur and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled the logo of the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 which will be held in Madhya Pradesh.
- He also said that players who win medals in the Khelo India Games will be provided an amount of 5,00,000 rupees every year for training.
- The international-level stadium is being built at Barkheda Nathu near Bhopal.
