Anil Dhasmana as new chief of NTRO
- The Ex- RAW chief Anil Dhasmana has been chosen as the chief of the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO). he will take place of former Intelligence Bureau officer Satish Jha.
About Anil Dhasmana –
- He is an IPS officer of 1981 batch and is a Pakistan expert. he played an important role in the planning of Balakot airstrikes in February 2019. he resigned a few months later.
About the National Technical Research Organisation:
- it is known as a technical intelligence agency and functions under Prime Minister’s Office, India. the establishment of NTRO was done in 2004.
