All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules 2021
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has launched a new scheme named “All India tourist authorization and permit, 2021” for tourist vehicle operators. as per this scheme, any tourist vehicle operator may apply online for authorization and permits.
Purpose:
- The main purpose of this new scheme is to boost tourism across the states in our country and is to help to increase the revenue of state Governments.

When into Effect
- The new rule “All India Tourist Vehicles Authorization and Permit Rules, 2021” will come into effect from 1st April 2021.
Authorization/permit Period or Validity
- The tourist vehicle operators will be granted authorization/permits for a period of three months or its multiples thereof, not exceeding three years at a time.
