ADB approved $100 million loans for power distribution system in Bengaluru
On 31st December 2020, The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a loan agreement with Indian Govt. the loan amount will be $100 million and it will be used for upgrading the power distribution system in Bengaluru to boost the quality and reliability of electricity supply in the city.
- Along with it, The ADB will also give $90 million without sovereign guarantee loan for the project to Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM).
