9th Land Ports Authority of India Foundation Day
On 1st March 2021, The Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) observed its 9th Foundation Day. on this occasion, Sanjeeva Kumar ( Secretary, Border Management) was present as the Chief Guest.

- The LPAI website, Newsletter and News Journal have been launched.
- the event focused on the subject “Facilitating Regional Trade and Connectivity through Land Route”
- Along with it, many scholars and persons from Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal became a part of this event.
Land Ports Authority of India:
- The Land Ports Authority of India or LPAI is a statutory body that functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and it is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing border infrastructure in India. It manages several Integrated Check Posts all across the Borders of India.
