- Annually, The day of 9 October is considered as the day of World Habitat. on that day, that remarks towns and cities’s state and along with it, all basic rights to all people.in addition, it reminds us that it is an our responsibility to give shape to our cities and towns in future.

World Cotton Day
- Every year, The day of 9 October is also considered as the day of World Cotton. First time World Cotton Day (WCD) will be organized by World Trade Organization (WTO) on 7 October 2019 in Geneva. the objective of day is to celebrate the benifits of cotton as natural fibre to people like production, transformation, trade and consumption
World Post Day
- it is a birthday of the installation of Universal Postal Union. in 1874, Bern, Swiss, Universal Postal Union was made. however, later in 1969, in UPU Congress decided to celebrate as World Post Day in Tokyo, Japan.

- Union Minister for Health, Dr Harsh Vardhan introduced eco-friendly firecrackers to prevent pollution at Diwali. these firecrackers, manufactured in India.
- The crackers, developed under monitoring of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in labs. sound-emitting, flowerpot, pencil and sparklers crackers are available.The new green crackers can be recognized by green logo ,Quick Response (QR) coding system.
A high-level panel for monitoring activities of money laundering
- The Govt of India has made a 19-member Inter-Ministerial Co-ordination Committee (IMCC) . the revenue secretary Mr Ajay Bhushan Pandey will chair of this Committee. The Committee will be monitor the activities of money laundering cases.
- The Committee has been made under the rule of Section 72A of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
- The Committee will have its 5 secretaries they will be from finance ministry and external affairs and regulatory authorities’s chiefs and probe agencies.
