World Wetlands Day on 02 February
The day of 2nd February is observed as World Wetlands Day every year across the world.
- It purposes to highlight the date of the adoption of the Convention on Wetlands which was adopted on 2nd day of February 1971 in the Iranian city of Ramsar
World Wetlands Day Theme 2021
It is based on the positive contribution wetlands have made to people.in 2020, the theme was ‘Wetlands and Biodiversity’.
