Every year, the day of 27th February is observed as World NGO Day by more than 89 countries and over six continents. the full form of NGO is Non-Governmental Organisation.

  • On 27th April 2010, the Baltic Sea NGO Forum of the Council of the Baltic Sea States recognized this day. The Baltic Sea NGO Forum member countries are Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Norway, and Sweden.
