VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 (Out) – Age, Qualification, Qualifying Marks

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025: VIT officials have released the eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2025 on the official website @viteee.vit.ac.in. Candidates can check out the details about the VITEEE eligibility criteria on this page. The VITEEE 2025 eligibility criteria will consist of nationality, qualifying exam, age, qualifying exam marks, mandatory subjects, etc. Candidates must follow the eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2025 before filling out the VITEEE 2025 application form. The VITEEE 2025 exam will be conducted from April 20 to 27, 2025.

VITEEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Must be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder.
• NRI applicants can directly apply under ‘NRI Category’ through NRI application form.
• Foreign applicants who studied/studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.

Age Limit

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2025.
• The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
• Applicants should produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be disqualified.

Qualifying Examination

• The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. For PCM (Physics – HL/A),(Mathematics – HL/A),(Chemistry – SL/A/AS) and for PCB (Physics – HL/A),(Biology – HL/A),(Chemistry – SL/A/AS).
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
• Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.

Requirement in the Qualifying Examination

Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2025 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics (P), Chemistry (C), and Mathematics (M) / Biology (B) (PCM/PCB) in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

Applicants applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2025 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics (P), Chemistry (C), and Mathematics (M) / Biology (B) in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories :

• Applicants belonging to SC/ST
• Applicants from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Certificate to prove community / nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
