Vinay Tonse as MD and CEO of SBI Mutual Fund
- Mr Vinay Tonse has been elected as new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer of SBI Mutual Fund (MF). he is going to take place of Ashwani Bhatia. Ashwani Bhatia has been selected as the managing director (MD) of State Bank of India.

About Vinay Tonse –
- As a Probationary Officer (PO), Vinay Tonse became the part of SBI in 1988. he is having an experience of 32 years with the State Bank of India. he has given his services in several facets of commercial banking for eg corporate credit, treasury, retail and international banking.
- before his appointment as MD and CEO, he was serving as chief general manager of the Chennai circle at SBI. he also served at SBI Osaka Branch – Japan as CEO for the period of four years.

- The centre has appointed Bhatia as MD of SBI, he is going to take place of PK Gupta.
