Veteran journalist Vinod Dua passes away: Veteran journalist Vinod Dua has taken his last breath at the age of 67. he was admitted to a Delhi hospital due to Covid-19.
- Vinod Dua was one of the pioneers in Hindi broadcast journalism.
- He worked with Doordarshan to present the youth programme Yuva Manch in the mid-’70s and later with several other television news channels.
- He was also part of NDTV’s journey and presented much-loved food show ‘Zaika India Ka’
About Veteran journalist Vinod Dua
- He was appointed as the first electronic media journalist and received the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award in 1996.
- In 2008, he was honored with Padma Shri for Journalism by the Government of India.
- Apart from this, he was awarded with RedInk Award by Mumbai Press Club for his lifetime achievement in the field of journalism in June 2017.
