Uttar Pradesh’s first air pollution control tower has stated Operating In Noida on 17 November 2021.

  • The air pollution control tower is a 20-metre-high and has a diameter of nine metres.
  • It can filter air in an area of one square kilometre around it.
  • Union Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey inaugurated Uttar Pradesh’s first air pollution control tower and minister Krishna Pal, Gautam Buddh Nagar MP Mahesh Sharma, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh and Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari were also present.
