UNDP and Agriculture Ministry signs an MoU for Credit Strategic Partnership – The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of India, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
- UNDP will provide technical assistance to the Centre’s ambitious Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and Kisan Credit Card – Modified Interest Subvention Scheme.
- the MoU was signed by CEO-PMFBY Ritesh Chauhan, UNDP Resident Representative Shoko Noda and Union Minister of Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar.
