Ex gratia compensation for FCI’s officials approved by Govt

  • The Indian Government has accepted to give ex-gratia monetary compensation to 1,08,714 employees and officers of the Food Corporation of India (FCI). The union minister for food and consumer affairs minister Ram Vilas Paswan shared this information.

Under G2G agreement, India will export wheat to Afghanistan and Lebanon

  • India is going to export almost one lakh tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan and Lebanon countries under the government to government (G2G) arrangement. in 2020, india is looking for production of 106.21 million tonnes compared to last year more than 2.61 million tonnes.

Meeting between G-20 finance ministers and central bank Governors on 15 April

  • On 15 April, G-20 nations are going to arrange a meeting to discuss the way forward in supporting the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das will join this meeting. before it, the Extraordinary Energy Ministers meeting held in last month on 31 March.
