The Society of Women Engineers supports women in all stages of their careers in engineering and technology, from students to professionals to retirees. SWE Detroit is offered an award of $1,000 to financially assist Michigan women who have enrolled in accredited engineering, engineering technology, and computer science programs.

Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
- Must be residing in SWE Detroit’s section area
- Must be in your senior year of high school OR current community college student
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Must pursue an engineering degree at a university or college with an ABET-accredited engineering/computer science program OR community college to transfer to a 4-year engineering degree
- Must be a woman or other underrepresented gender in engineering and technology
- Must submit all required documents.
