Tamil Nadu state has been as 1st Indian state who has started Smart Black Board Scheme. this Scheme will be implemented over 80,000 schools in the country.

- The main purpose of smart blackboard scheme is to utilize audio-visual teaching materials that can be used with digital classrooms.
- this scheme will help in creating materials that could use computer screens using pen drives.
- The Tamil Nadu Govt has taken an important decision to lessen syllabus for season 2020-21 by 40 per cent.
