Sanjay Dutt in KGF-2: Plea dismissed by Karnataka High Court –

• On 17th August 2020, The Karnataka High Court has dismissed a PIL petition which was against Sanjay Dutt casting. Sanjay Dutt is doing Kannada film KGF-2. Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka and Justice Ashok S. Kinagi have passed an order to decline petition filed. this petition was filed by Hubballi social worker G. Shivashankar.

• Plea points out that Sanjay Dutt was found guilty for keeping arms illegally and sent to imprisonment. petitioner also mentioned that Karnataka’s people are wanting to allow Dutt to play role in Kannada film KGF-2.

About KGF-2 Movie –

• KGF-2 is the 2nd part of KGF Chapter 1. Yash, Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon acted in KGF Chapter 1. Prashanth Neel roled as directer. KGF-2’s was to be released in October but due to Dutt’s treatment, the plan has been postponed.
