Road to Safety Scholarship 2024

Metzger Wickersham law firm established the scholarship in response to rising cases of road accidents. Over 73,000 people are injured and 1,460 people are killed in traffic accidents in Pennsylvania every year. The organization aims to raise awareness of the dangers of careless driving among young people.

Award Details

• 1st place winners – $1,000,
• 2nd place winners – $750,
• 3rd place winners – $500.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be Pennsylvania college-bound high school seniors and high school graduate students.
• You must submit a creative project, for instance, a painting, video, or song, which features the dangers of drunk or distracted driving.

Selection Process

Applicants will be assessed based on three aspects:

• their ability to convey the theme of the dangers of drunk or distracted driving;
• their creativity;
• their capacity to elicit positive emotion in and motivate other teenagers to be more conscious while driving.

How to ace the Road to Safety?

Follow instructions – All students must follow all the scholarship rules and regulations. If you submit the wrong format or upload extra-long videos may lead to your disqualification.

Practice with recording attempts – Before the apply, you must practice before settling on one product. You can start practicing and experimenting with different designs if you select to do a poster, drawing, or illustration.
