‘Rashtriya Puruskar Portal’ launched – the Union Government has developed the Rashtriya Puruskar Portal in order to encourage openness and public partnership. Several civilian awards have been instituted by various Ministries/Departments/Agencies of the Government of India to recognize people who have excelled and made exceptional contributions in their fields.
- These awards include Padma Awards, Sardar Patel National Unity Award, Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award, Jeevan Raksha Padak series of Awards, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Telecom Skill Excellence Award, etc.
- The portal will make it easier for the public to nominate people and organisations for various awards given by the Indian government.

- Padma Awards- Nomination open till 15/09/2022
- Sardar Patel National Unity Award- Nomination open till 31/07/2022
