Rabi Sankar as next RBI deputy governor
The Centre has elected RBI Executive Director T Rabi Sankar as the 4th deputy governor of the central bank.
- Sankar will take place of BP Kanungo who was retired on 2nd April.
- He will serve as deputy governor of the central bank for a three-year tenure.
Who is Rabi Sankar Wiki –
- He became a research officer in 1990 in the central bank.
- he has a Master’s degree in science and statistics from the Banaras Hindu University
