Educational Qualifications for PSPCL Technician Grade-II Recruitment 2024

Technician Grade-II (Mechanical): 3/4 years recognized Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks.

OR

Matriculation with Regular ITI in any branch of Mechanical discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Technician Grade-II (Instrumentation): 3/4 years recognized Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks.

OR

Matriculation with Regular ITI in instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical/Computer discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Knowledge/Qualification of Punjabi: Qualification/Knowledge of Punjabi is essential for all posts. For this purpose, the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level.

Note: The candidate must possess the above requisite qualifications up to last date of Submission/registration of online application.

Age Limit for PSPCL Technician Grade-II Recruitment 2024:

As per Punjab Govt. Notification G.S.R.20/Const./Art.309/Amd.(10)/2010 dated 24.05.2010, candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01/01/2024 to be eligible for these posts and relaxation in age will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.

Pay Scale for PSPCL Technician Grade-II Recruitment 2024:

For these posts, the Pay-Scale shall be as per the Instructions issued by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-1 Branch) vide its letter No. 7/42/2020-5FP1/742-746, Chandigarh dated 17.07.2020. Any clarification amendment in this regard issued from time to time by the Punjab Govt. shall be applicable.

Training for PSPCL Technician Grade-II Recruitment 2024

PSPCL may depute the selected candidates to undergo training at Technical Training Institute, PSPCL, Patiala or any other institute in India.
