Julie Garner created Project Yellow Light in 2011 in memory of her son who died in a car crash in 2007. The first contest was held in 2011, for the video category only. The organization is working towards creating awareness about safe driving through media campaigns and competitions.
Project Yellow Light Scholarship Competition is offered to high school and college students in the United States. The Competition includes billboard, video, radio, and social video competitions. The video competition will include two winners, one each from high school and college applicants.
Under the competition, you can submit any kind of video, including self or group featuring videos and animations with either 10 or 25 seconds in duration.
