PM Street Vendors AtmaNirbhar Nidhi Mobile App launched
- MoHUA ministry has started off mobile app named as PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi). the main purpose of this app is to provide user friendly digital interface to the all Lending Institutions (LIs) and help to support their field functionaries to get source and process loan applications to the street vendors under the scheme.
Workings –
- The mobile app would help in promoting paper-less digital accessing of micro-credit facilities and help to boost impetus to the implementation strategy of the PM SVANidhi govt scheme.

About PM SVANidhi scheme:
- The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs commenced PM SVANidhi scheme in order to provide affordable Working Capital loans to street vendors and will help to enable them resume their livelihoods that have hardly affected due to national lockdown.
