North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCEAA) offers the NC Opportunity Scholarship to support families across North Carolina to get their children into public schools. NC Opportunity program will help in expanding school choice through scholarship grants for eligible children in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Over 25,000 N.C. students won the NC Opportunity Scholarships to attend 544 private schools. Each winner will be provided from $2,100 to $6,492 for the next school year.

Eligibility Criteria

- Must be at least 5 years old by August 31 or at least 4 years old by April 16 and approved for Kindergarten according to State guidelines
- Must be living in North Carolina
- Must has not graduated from high school
- Has not enrolled in a post-secondary institution full-time
