The Andhra Pradesh government honored renowned historian and archaeologist MyNaa Swamy with the prestigious Ugadi Award for for his remarkable contributions to the field of historical and archaeological research. The award was conferred by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at a special ceremony in Vijayawada.

The Ugadi Award is one of the most prestigious recognitions and is awarded by the Andhra Pradesh government to individuals who have made significant contributions in various fields. In 2025, MyNaa Swamy was awarded for his exceptional work in the field of historical research and epigraphy. The award includes the ‘Kalaratna’ title, the prestigious ‘Hamsa’ medal, a certificate of appreciation, and a cash prize honors.
