Miller Johnson Attorneys and the Grand Rapids Community Foundation offer an initiative called the Miller Johnson Diversity Law Scholarship. Each year, a winner of the scholarship will be given funding of $5,000. The Foundation aims to ensure that all students interested in the legal industry have the opportunity to pursue this vocation. Students of color who are permanent residents of the state of Michigan can apply for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
- Must have minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must be U.S. citizens.
- Must have been accepted into or are presently studying at an accredited law school within the U.S. Besides.
- Permanent residents of the state of Michigan.

Selection Process
Applicants will be considered based on two key criteria: their academic performance and financial need. The grade transcript must demonstrate that, indeed, you have the academic potential to excel in the legal field and, at the same time, you must carry or provide supporting documents to show that you are from a financially disadvantaged background.
