Microsoft’s Internet Explorer retired after 27 years on 15th June – Microsoft has decided to retire Internet Explorer on 15 June, close to 27 years after its first version was released in 1995. Microsoft has asked to start shifting to Microsoft Edge for its users.
- Microsoft Edge is “faster and more secure” on Windows 10.
- Internet Explorer will no longer support on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10.
- Microsoft spent more than $100 million per year on Internet Explorer in the late 1990s.
