Manoj Sinha as Lt Governor of Jammu Kashmir

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed 61 years old Manoj Sinha as new Lieutenant(Lt) Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. he will take place of Girish Chandra Murmu who has resigned from the post on 5th August 2020.

About Manoj Sinha

Manoj was born on 1st July 1959 in Mohanpura of Ghazipur district of eastern Uttar Pradesh(UP). he remained as an active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)

in 1996, He was chosen for Lok Sabha and again elected in 1999. Manoj has served as a member of the BJP national council between 1989 and 1996.

he was chosen as MP in Lok Sabha and again chosen as MP in 2014 and represented Ghazipur in the Lower House.
